TL;DR

Snapkin collects no data. Your photos, stickers and notes stay on your iPhone: nothing is uploaded, analysed or tracked, and there are no ads.

What we collect

Nothing. Snapkin has no accounts, includes no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs, and makes no network requests.

What stays on your device

Photos you take or pick from your library, and the stickers made from them;
Titles, categories, moods, notes, tags and amounts you enter;
Appearance, language and font preferences.

Everything lives in the app's own sandbox and only you can access it. Deleting an entry deletes its images; uninstalling the app removes all data.

Permissions

Camera: take a photo to turn into a sticker.
Photos: pick a photo from your library and save share cards to it. Only the photo you select is read; the library is never scanned.
Motion & Fitness: a small feature on the calendar uses the device's gravity direction and shake gestures. Sensor data is used for the animation in the moment and never stored.

Cut-outs and suggestions are computed on-device with Apple's Vision framework; images never leave your phone.

Export and sharing

Content leaves the app only when you tap "Export as JSON" or "Share card", through the system share sheet, to a destination you choose. Snapkin never sends anything in the background.

Children

Snapkin is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
